kids nowadays couldnt imagine how life was in the 80s... there were no mobile fones, not even pagers/beepers that time, computers werent a necessity there wasnt even internet then... life was simpler back then...
i remember receiving a walkman from my parents back in gradeschool as a prize for having good grades. Back then, stuff like walkman, game and watch, atari, and betamax were a big hit.
you were kinda "in" in highschool if you play the family computer, you have upgraded your betamax to a vhs, or a laser disc player, and you can carry more songs with you with the disc man, and your tv comes with a remote control..
so why am i posting about this? its because i chanced upon some article... it talks about how they had a teen test a walkman on its 30th anniversary...
i wonder how my young siblings, nephews and nieces would react if they had to try out stuff which were really popular back then hahahaha.. id love to give it a try ..

Last saturday i was out with she, marszz, and jen.. we were suppoed to chek out venues for jun's party this coming august but... we werent able to do it lol...
we went to powerplant mall to watch transformers,,, luckily we had our tix bought the day before,,, since there was a long line in all the malls for the tickets there was even a long line of cars waiting to get inside the parking tsk3..
anyways... as we were about to go to the ground level to withdraw... this is what we saw...
looks familiar? hehe its the same as aiba's car,,, the model, the shade,,,, the doors are different tho.... when aiba's photos went out last time, i checked the price of this... if bought in japan this would cost around Php 4M (around 83,333,33 usd)... in here, this would cost around Php 6M (around 125,000 usd)... enough to buy 2-3 units of a 2br condo or a big house hahaha.... i dont see much people driving this around in here... this year i think i just saw about 2 kekekkk..
after watching transformers, we went to eat at soms.... its a carinderia (eatery along the streetside) at the back of rockwell... it serves home cooking of thai food...
we ordered garlic pepper pork, green curry chicken, spring rolls, phad thai and garlic rice...
got home around 12.30 that night i dunno why its so traffic in edsa even at midnight argh!!!!
~ change topic ~
lighted vehicle ads (i dunno what its really called,,, its those vehicles carrying lighted ads) fascinates me... they really get people's attention... usually its just rectangleor square pictures... but on our way home last friday, we saw something different :)

Yesterday morning i woke up with a text message from meg regarding arashi'sconcert sked and album release... today i woke up with a message from chrisseth that michael jackson and farah fawcett passed away... gesh im hoping tomorrow's mornig messages will be good news..
i know farah fawcett by the name,,, but honestly i dont know much about her except that she's one of the original charlie's angels cast and she died of cancer... thats it..
but michael jackson omg! his death really shocked me! soo young only 50... i remember him from wizard of oz... no one in this lifetime doesnt know atleast one of his songs... he turned from black to white long before glutathione was availablein the market... his life is an open book... despite the good and ba things i heard about him, i actually respect him still as an artist... and i ust say that his death is a great loss to the music industry..
while the whole arashi fandom is raving about the concert sked and the album preordering,,,, let me change the topic a little kekekk... i just wanna wish someone a happy happy birthday...
its been 4 long years since i became your fan... 4 long years since ive met two great people because of you, cathy and kat.. who eventually became my good friends... until now,, we're still together in arashi fandom... but as they say, times change... and so do people... i may not be as addicted to you now as i am before,,, and tho i am supporting a different group of people now (thanks to you i watched gokusen because i learned you watch it to learn japanese kekekk, and from there i discovered arashi kekekk), i will always always be grateful to you, because of you got me addicted to asian entertainment...
happy happy birthday, jeong ji hoon! (bi)
this world will have heaps of idols, but there will always be one BI :)
sharing here just a few of the thousand pix i still have in my old hdd... before drooling over aiba i drooled over these pix... gesh il always love those abs, those biceps, that smile.... before i drooled over sho's biceps, i drooled over bi's...(isnt it obvious im not updated? hahaha these are super old pix haha) before arashi,,, there was bi :)
vox is filled with his pix already so il just greet him :) hapi bday nino! maligayang bati! bati bati! :s
Last Sunday, before going to alma's place, i went to megamall to check out the toycon and get cathy's winkup mags (finally she decided she wants to collect arashi members' solo cover)
entrance was P100 (about 2usd),,, there were a lot of people outside as well as inside,,, it seemed like the aircon couldnt handle the many people ,,, twas soooo hot!!! and it became hotter after i saw wenidokane's booth...
wenidokane was selling je uchiwas... there's aiba, kame, matsujun, juno, jin,,, as well as magazines featuring je boys, drama osts, etc...
I prefer this ronald mcdonald look comapred to the "adult" ronald... the adult looks kinda scary for kids kekekek...
